Certificate process

  1. Please submit your *application for the Creative Writing Fiction Certificate.

    -or-

    Please submit your *application for the Creative Writing Non Fiction Certificate.

    The application fee ($35) is currently waived.


    *The application consists of a writing sample that will be reviewed and approved by current instructors for entrance into the program.

    Your application should be received by Thursday, October 11th, 2012. You will hear from us within 3 business days after successful completion of your application. Cohort classes may be added or cancelled after the application deadline depending on student enrollment. Therefore, early application is highly recommended. Please contact your student advisor if you have missed the deadline.

  1. If you receive an acceptance email from the program advisor, please log into your ECE student account and click on the Academics tab to wait for your Applications, Enrollments, and Upcoming Courses to display. You may now enroll in the program.

  1. You may also return to this page to register for individual courses (if applicable) required to complete the certificate. If a program and/or course does not appear open for enrollment, please contact your student advisor or call 404-727-6000 for more details.
