Certificate Process

We require a Bachelor's degree, in keeping with the IIA requirements. The Emory Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) classes may be taken on an "a la carte" basis, for example you may take the course for Part 3 before you take Parts 1 or 2. Additionally, if you register for all four parts at the same time, we will provide you with access to the valuable online practice tests for all four parts as soon as you've registered!

Certificate process

  1. First, please submit your application and application fee ($35, currently waived) via our website.

  1. If you receive an acceptance email from the program advisor, please log into your ECE student account and click on the Academics tab to wait for your Applications, Enrollments, and Upcoming Courses to display. You may now enroll in the program. Please note we require a Bachelor's degree before enrolling.

  1. You may also return to this page to register for individual courses (if applicable) required to complete the certificate. If a program and/or course does not appear open for enrollment, please contact your student advisor or call 404-727-6000 for more details.

Please contact Doug Solomon, Program Advisor, for further details via email at dsolom3@emory.edu or by phone at 404 712-4881.
